TKX Vault releases “Days of Night” by Halo Acid

TKX Vault (also/formerly known as Tokyo Exchange) released new music today by Halo Acid called Days of Night. It’s a deeply hypnagogic release with layers of white noise, static, and clever electronic beats produced with an outrun-esque, underground rave aesthetic. There are musical nods to early Autechre and Aphex Twin, especially the former’s Garbage extended-play. HKE of Dream Catalogue makes an appearance on the 25-minute closer “37 Hours,” which sounds similar to a more upbeat version of ambient techno artist Wolfgang Voigt’s output as Gas. For fans of 2814 and the aforementioned electronic artists.
