Siddiq & Vektroid self-release “Midnight Run”
It’s been a hell of a busy year for Vektroid so far. Almost feels like 2011, huh? Anyway, the newest album by the Portland artist is made in collaboration with Siddiq. It’s called Midnight Run, and it is a collage of vaportrap/hop, old-school classic-style sounds, and even some breakbeat. The hip-hop vocals and vaporwave sounds have been done in the past, but this collaboration is probably one of the first that incorporates two well-known artists in either scene. It’s available for $6.99 as a digital download.
