Pizzabox Society releases “Selections” by SYLLABUS

Selections is a jazzy approach to classic-style vaporwave and hypnagogic pop. This album is out on Pizzabox Society, which features artists such as Windows 98の, Biosynthesis, and SHOPPING WORLD JP. Tracks range from the muzak-inflected “on the rocks” to the long-form extreme distortion of “local singles.” It’s quite a varied album, and one that’ll be a good listen for those interested in contemporary takes on classic-style sounds.
