No Problema Tapes releases “A Night in the Cave” by Anguila
The Santiago, Chile label No Problema Tapes announced new music from Anguila last Thursday. A Night in the Cave is the forty-eighth release by the label and the second release of their Ambient Paths series. The first side of the album is the titular concept broken into three parts; the second is three other, conceptually less-related tracks. The songs are generally in the ambient style with influences from new age music, downtempo, and ambient techno. A Night in the Cave “aims to reflect the diverse emotions that surge when we face our innermost being.”1 It is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for $8 on white cassette in an edition of fifty.
