Suli Hyuga self-releases “Dream-Hop: Rising”

Dream-Hop: Rising is the second installment to the Dream-Hop series by Suli Hyuga. Just as with August’s inaugural release, Dream-Hop: Rising is instrumental jass-hop interpreted in the context of vaporwave. It’s a good series for those of you who like the beat of future funk but want something a bit more chillax. Whereas the previous album heavily played up the “-wave” side, Dream-Hop is more “-hop,” and it even features some harder moments of techno, dub, and trip-hop. Dream-Hop: Rising is much longer (sixteen tracks compared to seven), and may be viewed as Suli Hyuga’s first “full-length” release in the series. Guest features include R0x4ry, gorse, w u s o 命, ultramind, and Apollo Drive. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
