New World releases “STATELESS” by DRIFTER IN L.A.X.

As demonstrated by its name, New World is a label that focuses primarily cyberpunk and futuristic music, and STATELESS by DRIFTER IN L.A.X. is no different. This album is a fourteen-track imaginary soundtrack to a dystopian/utopian (take your pick!) city with influences from outrun culture and the cinematic universes created by the Dream Catalogue label (and its imprints) and the Bludhoney label. Some tracks (e.g. “Kanagawa Nights”) have influences from instrumental 2000s hip-hop, whereas others (e.g. “Golden Gai Nights”) play up the soundtrack side. It’s available for $1 USD as a digital download.
