Vektroid self-releases “GDGA1” by CTO & Ray Sherman

We said in September when NO TITLE came out that Vektroid has had a hell of a productive year, and that’s certainly still the case with the release of GDGA1. This album is billed as a collaborative release between CTO and Ray Sherman, although it’s published on the official Vektroid music site. GDGA1 is a mix of vapornoise, progressive electronica, and instrumental hip-hop music, with some idiosyncratic similarities to Oneohtrix Point Never’s Garden of Delete, released last year. Check out the ten-minute “Last Line from Seattle” for a crazy glitch-enthused trip into Vektroid’s most abrasive music since Fuji Grid TV EX. It’s available for $5.99 as a digital download.
