Asura Revolver releases “The Headhunters” by Ben Zimmerman

Asura Revolver is a fairly new label based out of Norway who released their first album in October 2016. The Headhunters is the label’s second release, and it’s thirteen tracks of weird, old-school techno that’s mixed with the attitude of hardvapor and the relative desire for experimentalism that characterizes the Dream Catalogue “Vault” series and some of the stuff out on Antifur. Tracks are spacey in a science fiction kind of way; “Perhaps” could totally be a track to which Arnold Schwarzenegger fucks shit up in Total Recall or for a redux of the Deus Ex opening montage. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for £9 GBP on cassette in an edition of fifty.
