Dream Catalogue issues “HK” by HKE on vinyl, with “VELTAHL” by R23X
HK by HKE is one of the defining albums for vaporwave, dreampunk, and ambient music in the modern digital era, not to mention the new millennium. The album will be issued by parent label Dream Catalogue for the first time on physical media in an edition of 1000 on “future blue” vinyl. The album is currently available as a digital download for £4 GBP; at the moment, the Dream Catalogue web site simply says that it will be out “tomorrow”, on 15 December. Refresh your browsers often if you’re looking to grab a piece!
EDIT: Aaaaaand it’s out! Available for £14 GBP here!
Dream Catalogue concurrently announced a vinyl release of new music from R23X, titled VELTAHL. VELTAHL is his first album since R23X released SOUND_TRACK last October. From what may be heard on the preview track, the new album is a bit glitchy with some influence from trap music via hi-hat tremors, and it utilizes wordless vocal samples and atmospherics. It will be pressed on turquoise wax in an edition of 500.
