Beer on the Rug releases “Tabrecn” by Aphni

Here’s Beer on the Rug’s February 2017 album: Tabrecn by Aphni. This release is a four-track extended-play that utilizes tropes of ambient music and hip-hop to create something that’s not quite dreampunk due to the lack of overt cyberpunk theme but certainly indebted to the vapor(wave) progenitors of which it is a part. The musical leads are in the percussion rather than the synths, giving Tabrecn an effect not unlike that of house music. It’s available for $5 USD as a digital download.
