Bogus Collective releases “Spirit of ’83” by CTR

Here’s an interesting one. Spirit of ’83 is presented as a series of interviews and music clips from the fictitious band Cockroft-Traynor-Rippingham, who stopped touring in 1983 and embarked on new tour three-and-a-half years later. The overall album is fairly short, as if you’re listening to audio from a PBS feature real. The release is presented with a broken transmission aesthetic, with clips bouncing in and out like jump cuts. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
