Sunset Grid releases “From Yoko with Love” by Funk Chikken

Australian label Sunset Grid is back with a new album of sample curation called From Yoko with Love by Funk Chikken. In contrast to the muzak and adult contemporary with which sample curation is typically associated, From Yoko with Love primarily samples from Japanese funk songs and uptempo R&B. It’s kind of like future funk, except without the house atmosphere. Recommended for fans of luxury elite if she were into rock music instead of adult contemporary. From Yoko with Love is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
