Sunset Grid releases “SUGAR BABIES” by SUGAR BABIES

SUGAR BABIES is the eponymous album from SUGAR BABIES, freshly released through Australian label Sunset Grid. SUGAR BABIES consists of nine tracks of hypnagogic drift, whereby vaporwave samplism techniques are used to extend and affect source material to a somewhat lethargic and surreal extent without dipping straight into ambient music. This work has a few long vaporwave jams like the eleven-minute “Blue”, but it also has some shorter single-length ones like “Sensitive” that focus greater on percussion for a downtempo vaporhop feeling. SUGAR BABIES is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
