Kaiseki Digital releases “Sydney264” by phorme

The word “cinematic” is super cliche in music journalism, but that’s actually not a bad description of Sydney264, a new album released by phorme through Kaiseki Digital. Opening track “264 Kilometers Away” even sounds like an overture. This is a five-track EP that incorporates dreampunk, downtempo, and ambient music in an imaginary drive to Sydney, Australia late at night to see someone – friend, lover, enemy, family; it’s all your call.
