Celldeath Tapes releases “Saltwater Donut” by Ursula’s Cartridges

Ursula’s Cartridges primarily produces classic-style vaporwave, so Saltwater Donuts (available through Celldeath Tapes) is a bit of a twist. This album combines new age aesthetics (nu age?) with hypnagogic drift that’s firmly grounded in vaporwave samplism. Many of the tracks are somewhat long, winding ambient melodies with hypnotic percussion loops. Choice cut is “Cascade”. Saltwater Donuts is available for $1 USD as a digital download and for $8 USD on cassette in an edition of twenty-five.
