Contemporary Tapes releases “RadioShaq” by PALM SPRING
RadioShaq is a new release from PALM SPRING, brought to you by the Tennessee label Contemporary Tapes. This release is total broken transmission, which utilizes plunderphonics tropes in a way to evoke a heavily distorted or glitched recording that’s tuning and and out. The release is themed around American basketball player Shaquille O’Neal and his many media appearances – including that wonderful full-length nineties film Kazaam. Recommended for fans of INTERNET CLUB. It’s available for $3 USD as a digital download.
