Ephemeral Dream releases “Basement Trax” by CMD094

Billed as “one of the first works from the CMD094 project”, Basement Trax is a ten-track full-length released through Ephemeral Dream, a relatively new label that releases a variety of works in the vaporwave, dreampunk, and cyberpunk spectra. Basement Trax incorporates lo-fi garage music with dreampunk ambient sounds, making substantial use of airy synthesizers. Each track is made from a “damaged loop” that was originally recorded on cassette, akin to William Basinski’s making of The Disintegration Loops. Basement Trax is available for $1 USD as a digital download.
