Pizza Beast releases “GLASS: Another Look at Harmony Part IV” by Petridisch

My first thought upon pressing play was “this definitely sounds like vaporwave Philip Glass”, and then I took another look at the album title. GLASS: Another Look at Harmony Part IV is the second of a series of compositions by Petridisch that interpret music and operatic works by modern composer Philip Glass, who’s known for a career spanning decades with works such as Einstein on the Beach. This release takes Glass’s themes of repetition and adds a drone influence – yes, even more drone than you’d expect from Glass. All instruments and production are performed by Petridisch. Pizza Beast is pushing the physical copy of this album, so at the time of this writing it’s available for $8 USD on CD or for $420 as a digital download. Oh, there’s a mirror link, too.
