Naughty Night releases “Longing & Passion ⌘42” by 회사AUTO

Originally released back in December 2012, Naughty Night has reissued Longing & Passion ⌘42 by 회사AUTO. This is 회사AUTO’s third-ever release, predating their future funk and vaporhop-oriented works like ~Q~ by a few years. Longing & Passion ⌘42 is classic old-school vaporwave that’s based in experimental plunderphonics truly in the Oswald style, whereby repeated samples are looped and degraded with a jump-cut aesthetic that has quite a bit in common with early tape music. Recommended for fans of Universitat de Barcelona, although with less noise music influence, and early Vektroid. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for approximately $15 USD on cassette (depending on shipping costs) in an edition of forty.
