Aurawire releases “Corona” by Glass Double

Glass Double hails from Gainesville, FL – and I’ll try not to hold that against them. Corona is freshly out on the Minneapolis, MN label Aurawire. It’s a luscious ten-track release of ambient cyberpunk music with a cinematic basis and distinct hi-fi production. Several tracks feature spoken word pieces concerning space shuttles and other space-oriented topics, giving the album a very distinct futuristic vibe. Recommended for fans of Shima33 and Kenji Yamamoto – the latter of which produced the soundtrack to Metroid Prime. It’s available for $4 USD as a digital download and for $8 USD on cassette in an edition of twenty-five.
