Bogus Collective releases “Internal Garden: Research Collection One” by Justin Wiggan

Internal Garden: Research Collection One is an experimental ambient/drone album released by Justin Wiggan for Bogus Collective. It consists of five long-form ambient tracks that are significantly influenced by the microgenre of “lowercase”, in which ambient sounds are played just barely above the threshold of hearing unless turned up loud and often incorporate subtle sounds like pages turning or the barest of synthesizers. The point of this release was to transform data collected on impedance in plant tissue into sound through MIDI music, similar to Jeffrey Thompson’s interpretations of NASA Voyager data. This album is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
