Friends was a (hot take: massive overrated) TV show that became an enormous cultural phenomenon in the 90s. Combining raunchy, sexual topics with a sit-com production style that was more often associated with family shows, Friends was a show for adults and earlytwentysomethings in the 90s about a group of six titular friends and their foibles (romantic, personal, employment) while living in New York City. Ever seen How I Met Your Mother? Yeah, that’s basically Friends for the 2000s. FRIENDSWAVE is a full-length of classic-style vaporwave by opal東京 that celebrates the show, featuring adult contemporary/muzak bookended by clips from the show.
