Bogus Collective releases “Dreams” by redcloud64
Upon first listen, it’d be very easy to say that Dreams from redcloud64 is an old-school vaporwave album from 2010 or 2011. All of the throwback tropes are there: slightly staticky production, short sample curation, wildly different sources that keep the ear engaged, and differing levels of production effects per track for additional variety. But it’s not – in fact, Dreams was released just in July 2018. redcloud64 kinda makes the old-school sound their shtick, and if it’s yours as well then this is the album for you. Choice track is “Dreamscape”. The album is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
