Business Casual releases “Complete Discography” by Subhumanizer

Subhumanizer was a (very) brief project that released two albums – one at the end of 2015, and the other at the beginning of 2016. These were issued at the height of the “hardvapour” trend, which mixed industrial techno, noise, glitch, and samplism with a distinctly Eastern European aesthetic in a way that was antagonistically directed toward vaporwave. Hardvapour has pretty much petered out – with the main labels Antifur and HVRF not releasing music in some time – but there have been several notable reissues in 2018. This compilation from Business Casual compiles both Subhumanizer albums in one easy package. These tracks use a bit more straightforward Internet-age samplism than hardvapour normally dared touch, along with some techno and hip-hop beats. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for $8 USD on cassette in an edition of fifty.
