Asura Revolver releases “A Wonderful Place” by Unorthodox Digital

Unorthodox Digital has a new album called A Wonderful Place – now out on Norwegian label Asura Revolver. This release was developed over the last year to “test the waters of various sounds, styles, and compositional methods within the drone and ambient genres, exploring everything from plunderphonics to field recordings”. Most of the music features low, rumbling drones, with field recordings cut up and made almost unrecognizable from their source material. Choice track is “Steel Mirror”. A Wonderful Place is available for £4 GBP as a digital download and for £8 GBP on cassette in an edition of thirty.
