Collapsed Structures releases “SYZYGY” by Sour Gout
Let me see here… a “syzygy” is defined as “a straight-line configuration of three or more celestial bodies in a gravitational system”. So that’s what Hades was waiting for in Hercules (the Disney movie, y’all). SYZYGY is also a new album by Sour Gout released on the post-industrial label Collapsed Structures, which is based in Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada. SYZYGY is glitched-out electronic music with stuttering beats and songs driven not by any sense of consonance/dissonance but how much Sour Gout can screw with production and still make a consistent song. SYZYGY is available for $4 CAD as a digital download.
