Power Lunch releases “CUMULONIMBUS” by CUMULONIMBUS

CUMULONIMBUS is a fairly unique release, even for the eclectic Power Lunch label on which is appears. This is a sample curation album of spoken word bits from weather updates and American television advertisements. The overall aesthetic gives it a similar feeling to “weathersoft”, which seeks to evoke the feeling of watching the The Weather Channel. Where other weathersoft albums focus on the bumper music, these release actually plays the broadcasts themselves. Recommended for fans of telenights by ghosting. Choice track is “Cold front”.
