Bedlam Tapes releases “yin_yang” by Kai Beckman

Bedlam Tapes is back with some fishy ambiance from Kai Beckman, titled yin_yang. This release is ten tracks of mostly ambient music that occasionally delves into some downtempo IDM music (e.g. “discovery”). This’ll please fans who are interested in that halfway point between hip-hop and IDM that’s come out recently on labels such as VCR, Tetra Sounds, and Adhesive Sounds. Each track is cleanly, immaculately produced, kind of like early Mu-ziq and Autechre. Track lengths range from two minutes to twelve. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for $10 on blue or red cassette in an edition of sixty.
