tekres releases “Man and God” by Pépe

The fifth tekres album is out: Man and God by Pépe. This release is eight tracks of ghost tech – a particular type of electronic music that grew out of dreampunk and IDM, using primarily four-on-the-floor beats but often with a wistful tone and a millennium-cyberpunk aesthetic. Man and God uses some serious old-school house-type percussion, but it also explores some ambient textures toward the middle via “The Second Time We Went to Space”, which easily could’ve been released on Dream Catalogue in 2015 or on TKX Vault – the latter of which featured tekres owner/founder Halo Acid. Man and God is available for £4 GBP as a digital download and for £9 GBP on cassette in an edition of fifty.
