VCR releases “Singles Club, Vol. 1” by Tsunxmi
Tsunxmi is an ambient vaporwave/dreampunk artists out of the States who’s released on the DMT Tapes FL imprint VCR in the past. Singles Club, Vol. 1 is a collection of ambient tracks that is quite removed from the classic-style vaporwave normally featured on VCR. Tracks are typically medium-length to long, averaging around the seven or eight minute mark, and they utilize the cycling drone progressions that will be familiar to fans of telepath’s recent works (e.g. Guardian) and Vangelis. Also featured are several collaborations with artists such as Reef Frequent, Krzyzis, Staple, and .mp3 Neptune. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download, as with all albums released through DMT Tapes FL.
