Evaporated Sounds releases “Goodnight” by Virtual Polygon

Evaporated Sounds has been branching out quite a bit from their classic-style vaporwave roots, continuing with the release of Goodnight by Virtual Polygon. While still retaining much of the subgenre’s notable styles – mainly, heavy reliance on sample curation and looping – it takes the route walked by artists such as Broken Light and Infinity Frequencies by primarily utilizing classical and soundtrack sources for songs with short track lengths. As with Broken Light, Goodnight is fairly melancholic, and audible degradation has been applied to each song – or perhaps it was there all along. Recommended for fans of those two artists. It’s available for $1 CAD as a digital download.
