VCR albums 31 March – 4 April

Here are a bunch of albums from Verbatim Consciousness Recordings that were released in the past few days, including April Fool’s weekend when Sunbleach was being a goober:

• 3D Blast – The White Weasel Mash-ups: April 1st album from the future funk artist 3D Blast that creates some ridiculous mash-ups between artists such as Bo Burnham and Daft Punk. A funny April Fool’s joke, and also a rather funky album, too.
• バーチャル Paragon ™ – Ｄｒｅａｍ Ｅｘｃｈａｎｇｅ: classic-style vaporwave full-length album from a long-time producer. Squeaky clean samples plus plenty of adult contemporary jams to make you and your special honey happy.
• DMT Tapes FL – Video Home Singles, Vol. 5: the fifth compilation of tracks from albums released on VCR. This compilation spans the time period from 2/27/2017 to 4/2/2017. Great introduction to VCR if listening to each and every one of the releases is too daunting.
• Zimzari – A Trip to New Hampshire: full-length release of hypnagogic drift music with as much twilight as its album artwork. Has a few vocal samples and clicks that give it a slight field-recording quality.
