Ailanthus Recordings releases “PAST THE MOON GATE” by Nature’s Kid

That’s a Game of Thrones reference, right? The moon gate – or moon doors? Anyway, this album by Nature’s Kid is classic-style vaporwave that uses samples from really old-school R&B, rock, and soul as well as modern hip-hop. “Money in the Bank” is an ECCOJAMS track of… well, if you were alive to experience the musical wonder that is the noughties, then you know. There’s a lot of lo-fi effects added as well, giving it a 56k bit rate feeling after being recorded through a phone. It’s available as a free digital download.
