Adhesive Sounds releases “Welcome to Villa Zodone ℞” by Viibryd
There’s a very specific strand of vaporwave music called “utopian vaporwave”. It’s more of a general pool of albums than it is an actual aesthetic. Utopian vaporwave imagines perfect communities and environments, often pairing such imagery with tracks that have simple major melody leads and the slight sterility of corporate muzak. Welcome to Villa Zodone ℞ is one such album, released through Viibryd. Check it out for some classic-style vaporwave that might or might not be a creepy Stepford Wife interpretation of inpatient care settings.
