Adhesive Sounds releases “smoke break vol II” by qualchan.

Returning into the vaporwave folds is qualchan (typeset as “qualchan.”) with smoke break vol II, available through Adhesive Sounds. This release is set up as two continuous sides of a cassette, with each track made up of a multitude of movements constructed through classic-style vaporwave and sample curation. Sources include instrumental adult contemporary music and smooth jazz, like what would be played on a mid-morning cable new network or a nighttime FM radio station in the mid-90s. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for $10 CAD on cassette in an edition of twenty-five.
