Sunset Grid releases “New Year’s Eve” by SONICON
New Year’s Eve was released on New Year’s Day. I smell a conspiracy. (EDIT: turns out this came out on New Year’s Eve… in Australia! Nerds.) This new full-length from SONICON is eight tracks of sample curation. Each track is constructed out of loops of either muzak or adult contemporary music with a heavy low-pass filter and a very quiet production – different than expected with the countdown album artwork. New Year’s Eve is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
