Junk Maker Sounds releases “CULTURE CYCLE” by ハリウッドの食料品

CULTURE CYCLE is the sophomore (but not sophomoric) release by ハリウッドの食料品, available through Junk Maker Sounds. This release follows the blueprint set by debut Midnight Shopping (via Gulf Audio Company) in presenting distorted mallsoft music that sounds not only as if it’s being played through decrepit speakers but as if the air itself is old and stale. Choice tracks are “SUMMER SAVINGS THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE STORE”, which is one of the grodiest songs on the album, and “YOU MIGHT NOT GET RICH BUT WITH OUR SAVINGS PROGRAM YOU’LL FEEL LIKE YOU ARE! “.
