Junk Maker Sounds releases “Classic Vapor” by Open XML

True to its name, Classic Vapor by Open XML harkens back to old-school vaporwave releases from circa-2012 that primarily operated by sample curation mixed with some classic-style plunderphonics edits. Available through Junk Maker Sounds, this five-track EP samples from instrumental adult contemporary music and combines those samples with “synth-disco” music that give it a glitchy edge. Possibly recommended for fans of early PZA. It’s available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
