Geometric Lullaby releases “THE VOID” by Sidewalks and Skeletons
Our final update for the night is from Geometric Lullaby, which releases vaporwave, synthwave, and all kinds of modern cyberpunk music. THE VOID is a new full-length from Sidewalks and Skeletons for which the label has released two accompanying music videos. Although the artwork might impress upon someone to think of vaporgoth music, this is a downtempo/ambient release with significant cyberpunk themes, with cloudy instrumentals and ebullient synthesizer progressions. Possibly recommended for fans of Crystal Castles without the distortion. Choice track is the club-thumping “1996”. THE VOID is available for $7 USD as a digital download and for $11 USD in translucent purple cassette in an edition of 100.
