DMT Tapes FL releases “STEVE SOBS X” by AGNAR

Well with a title like STEVE SOBS X, you can bet that this EP from AGNAR is gonna be vaporwave alright. In fact, it’s a mix of classic-style vaporwave and lo-fi hip-hop, with opening track “UPGRADE” being slightly against type in comparison to the muffled samplism present in the rest of the album. There are some parts (e.g. “Classic Mode”) where the track takes on a dark ambient affect that isn’t too far removed from Universitat de Barcelona’s quieter moments. STEVE SOBS X is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download.
