Immersion Complete releases “Panic Dreams” by Fictional Girlfriend / Princess Commodore 64

Fictional Girlfriend and Princess Commodore 64 have two of the most unassuming names in contemporary vaporwave. You’d think they’d be quirky sample curation along the lines of waterfront dining, but they make creepy ambient vaporwave music. Panic Dreams is the album for people who are disappointed that Halloween has passed. It’s a large split release that combines two separate full-lengths by either artist for a total of twenty-two tracks and over an hour of music. The tracks from Princess Commodore 64 tend to be more drone-influenced and less dissonant than Fictional Girlfriend’s. Recommended for fans of the TKX Vault releases from Unknown Artist, The Last Man on Earth, and Kamokata. Panic Dreams is available as a pay-what-you-want digital download and for $13 USD on double cassette in an edition of fifteen.
